It's been a slow start to the season for Brooks, starting late as a result of an early-season injury. While he does look to be getting back to full health, his position on the offensive pecking order is at least one notch lower when compared to this time last season. He can still be a solid source of points but typically offers minimal production elsewhere.

Impact Brooks has scored in double digits in each of his last three outings, and while he couldn't repeat his 30-point output of the previous meeting against Utah, at least he ended up as Memphis' second-best scorer while draining multiple threes for the third straight contest as well. He only scored four points across 24 minutes in his season debut against the Nets on Oct. 24, but he has averaged 20.0 points while shooting 50 percent from deep over his last three contests.

Impact Brooks finally found some rhythm on the offensive end, pouring in a season-high 30 points. He added three steals to round out what was a very good night, rewarding anyone who continues to roster him. However, the fact Ja Morant was out with an illness has to be taken into account. With that said, Brooks is typically going to see at least 30 minutes, and despite sliding down the offensive pecking order this season, he remains a back-end 12-team option.

Impact Brooks struggled again, making it challenging for managers to stay put. While he can be given a bit of leeway due to his recent injury, his upside is limited. Outside of points and triples, he offers very little on a nightly basis. It appears the Grizzlies have figured out that Desmond Bane should be the second option on offense -- something that is going to cut into Brooks' shot opportunities.
