Big night not enough against LA Mitchell ended Wednesday's 106-101 loss to the Lakers with 37 points (13-24 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, five assists and four steals across 37 minutes.
Impact Mitchell was the only Jazz player to score more than 15 points in the loss, and he did so with an efficient 13-for-24 performance from the field. The All-Star guard finished with his highest scoring total since Dec. 31 and knocked down five three-pointers for the second straight game. Mitchell ranks third in the NBA with 3.3 triples per contest, and he is shooting 43.1 percent from beyond the arc over his past six games.
