Impact Payton has been sidelined since Jan. 2 because of a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, although he has been limited to just four contests since Nov. 18 due to hamstring, calf and foot injuries. His ramp up will likely be gradual, but his hounding defense would be a welcome addition to Golden State's backcourt/wing depth, which has been salvaged by strong play from rookie Brandin Podziemski of late.

Gui Santos - Posts multiple career highs Santos logged nine points (3-5 FG, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 18 minutes during Monday's 109-98 victory over Brooklyn.
Impact Playing in just his ninth game for Golden State, Santos posted multiple career highs in the win. The Warriors could certainly use more consistent play from their bench, and Santos may have earned himself another look from coach Steve Kerr with this performance.

Dario Saric - Barely plays Monday Saric (illness) logged four minutes and finished with three points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and one steal in Monday's 109-98 win over the Nets.
Impact In his return from a two-game absence due to the illness, Saric played the first 4:29 of the second quarter but didn't check back into the game as the Warriors relied on starters Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green and reserves Kevon Looney and Gui Santos as their primary frontcourt options. Though he could eventually poach Santos' playing time and/or supplant Looney as Green's top backup, Saric's minutes ceiling still looks to be limited given that the Warriors are expected to get Andrew Wiggins (ankle) back in action soon.

Impact The return of Moody from a nine-game absence due to a calf strain helped restore some depth on the wing, but he didn't turn in a meaningful fantasy line while going a plus-5 during his time on the court. Moody should be able to stick in the rotation while the eventual returns of Gary Payton (hamstring) and Chris Paul (hand) are further away, though the third-year player could see a slight minutes reduction if Andrew Wiggins (ankle) is back in action in the near future.

Impact Getting his 12th start of the season with Andrew Wiggins (ankle) sidelined, Podziemski delivered his sixth career double-double and fourth in the last nine games. The rookie has emerged as a key rotation piece for the Warriors after being selected 19th overall in the 2023 Draft, and during that nine-game stretch the Santa Clara product is averaging 12.3 points, 6.9 boards and 4.6 assists while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor.

Jonathan Kuminga - Double-double in Monday's win Kuminga amassed 28 points (9-18 FG, 10-12 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 33 minutes during Monday's 109-98 victory over the Nets.
Impact It's the third double-double of the season for Kuminga, with two of them coming in the last eight contests. The third-year forward's hot streak has lasted a little longer than that, though -- he's popped for 20-plus points in nine of the last 10 games, averaging 24.9 points, 6.7 boards, 2.2 assists, 1.4 threes and 1.3 steals over that stretch while shooting 60.8 percent from the floor and a stunning 53.8 percent (14-for-26) from long distance.

Stephen Curry - Pops for 29 in Brooklyn Curry had 29 points (12-24 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes during Monday's 109-98 win over the Nets.
Impact Incredibly, the two-time MVP was the only Warrior to drain a three-pointer on the night as he dragged his team to a road win. Curry has sunk at least three threes in 10 straight games, averaging 31.8 points, 6.0 assists, 5.8 treys and 4.7 boards over that stretch while shooting 44.3 percent from beyond the arc, and at 35 years old he's still capable of posting elite scoring numbers when he's healthy.
