Lindy Waters III - Leading scorer Saturday Waters tallied 15 points (5-7 FG, 5-7 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 15 minutes during Saturday's 91-90 preseason win over the Clippers.
Impact Waters connected on a game-high five three-point field goals Saturday, and he joined Moses Moody as the only Golden State players to reach double-digit scoring. Waters spent the first three years of his NBA career with the Thunder, but he was dealt to the Warriors in June in exchange for the No. 52 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. He appeared in 38 regular-season games in 2023 and averaged 3.6 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists over 7.4 minutes per game.

Stephen Curry - Scores nine points vs. Clippers Curry finished Saturday's 91-90 preseason win over the Clippers with nine points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal across 14 minutes.
Impact None of the Warriors' starters, including Curry, played more than 20 minutes in the preseason opener Saturday, but the two-time MVP managed to lead the starting five in scoring. Who will replace Klay Thompson in the backcourt next to Curry hasn't been solidified, but De'Anthony Melton got the nod over Brandin Podziemski on Saturday. The 36-year-old Curry will continue to serve as the focal point of the Warriors' offense as he enters his 15th season in the NBA.

Impact The Warriors have quite a positional battle at the shooting guard position, and while Podziemski could have a shot at playing steady minutes, head coach Steve Kerr has decided to play DeAnthony Melton alongside Stephen Curry in the backcourt.
