Hornets Star LaMelo Ball To Miss Multiple Weeks With Major InjuryOne of the league’s top scorers this year has been bit by the injury bug yet again.

Mark Williams - Ruled out againWilliams (foot) will remain sidelined for Saturday's tilt with the Hawks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
ImpactWilliams was recalled to the Hornets from the G League's Greensboro Swarm earlier in the week, but he will miss his third straight opportunity to suit up. The big man is looking to make his season debut, and see his first NBA action since Dec. 8 of last year. His next chance to do just that will come Tuesday against the 76ers.

Miles Bridges - Will remain sidelinedBridges (knee) will not play in Saturday's home game against the Hawks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
ImpactBridges' absence will mark his sixth straight. On the bright side, he was recently cleared to begin individual on-court activity and seemingly ramping things up for an eventual return to game action. His next opportunity to suit up will come Tuesday versus the 76ers. In his absence, rookie Tidjane Salaun figures to continue starting at power forward.

Tre Mann - Reevaluated in two weeksMann (back) will remain sidelined for Saturday's game against the Hawks and is expected to be reevaluated in two weeks.
ImpactMann's absence will mark his fifth-straight due to lower back soreness diagnosed as disc irritation. He will continue rehabilitation and is unlikely to return until Dec. 19 against the Wizards at the earliest following the NBA's in-season tournament. It is poor timing for the backup point guard, as starter LaMelo Ball is also expected to be sidelined during the same time period, which means it is a missed opportunity for increased playing time. As a result, Brandon Miller, Seth Curry, Vasilije Micic, Nick Smith and Cody Martin are the backcourt candidates for Charlotte going forward.

LaMelo Ball - Will miss some timeBall has been diagnosed with a left calf strain and will be reevaluated two weeks from the date of the injury sustained on Nov. 27.
ImpactBall injured his left calf in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game versus Miami. Two weeks from that date will be Dec. 11, which means a reasonable estimation for his earliest return may not be until Dec. 19 at Washington following the NBA's in-season tournament. The star guard has averaged career highs in points (31.1) and three-pointers (4.7) this season, both of which rank second league-wide. Additionally, he has logged 5.4 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 18 games. Tre Mann (back) has already been ruled out Saturday, but will be the primary option to fill in at point guard when healthy. Other candidates to see increased workloads in Ball's absence are Brandon Miller, Seth Curry, Vasilije Micic and Cody Martin.
