Terry Taylor - Nears double-double in loss Taylor chipped in 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 128-119 loss to the Bucks.
Impact Taylor saw heavy playing time off the bench Tuesday, turning in a fantasy-friendly performance in the process. With starting power forward Jalen Smith fouling out after just 17 minutes and the Pacers dealing with other injuries, Taylor stepped in to fill the void, doing an admirable job as usual. Despite showing the ability to stuff the stat sheet in recent weeks when he's been given steady minutes, Taylor isn't likely to be as big of a factor coming out of the All-Star break, when Indiana could get Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles), Chris Duarte (toe) and Isaiah Jackson (ankle) back in action.

Buddy Hield - Goes off for season-high 36 points Hield compiled a season-high 36 points (14-20 FG, 8-12 3Pt) to go with four assists, two rebounds and one steal over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 128-119 loss to Milwaukee.
Impact Hield caught fire in the loss, drilling eight triples on his way to his biggest scoring haul since January 2020. He hasn't been shy about firing away from distance since arriving in Indiana, assuming a primary role on the offensive end of the floor. He won't be this good in every game of course, but given his role in Indiana, Hield's recent move from Sacramento has undoubtedly been a great development for his fantasy outlook.

Impact Smith and Goga Bitadze will start in the frontcourt. It's not clear if this is a trend that will continue or if it's a measure against the frontline of Bobby Portis and Giannis Antetokounmpo. It seems likely that Smith will move back to the bench once Chris Duarte (toe) is healthy. In his first two games with the Pacers, Smith has averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks.

Impact Brogdon will have just one more chance to play before the All-Star break -- Wednesday against the Wizards. However, it would be somewhat surprising if the Pacers risked re-injury instead of letting him rest.

Impact Brogdon has been sidelined since Jan. 19 due to an Achilles injury, but he'll have another chance to return to the court Tuesday. Even if he's available, he'll presumably face a minutes restriction following his lengthy absence.

Tristan Thompson - Quiet in 15 minutes Thompson accumulated one point (0-3 FG, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds in 15 minutes during Sunday's 129-120 loss to Minnesota.
Impact For the second straight game since joining the Pacers, Thompson didn't make much of an impact on the stat sheet, but he saw 15 minutes of action off the bench, as was the case during his debut Friday against the Cavs. In a crowded Indiana frontcourt, Thompson likely won't play enough to work his way onto the fantasy radar.

Jalen Smith - Goes for 17 and 12 off bench Smith chipped in 17 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds and one block over 23 minutes during Sunday's 129-120 loss to the Timberwolves.
Impact After putting up 12 points, three boards, one steal and one block in his Pacers debut Friday, Smith popped for one of his best performances of the season. The 2020 first-round pick quickly fell out of favor in Phoenix, but he'll be one of several big men vying for minutes in the Indiana frontcourt with Domantas Sabonis no longer in town. Smith should continue to get increased looks in the Pacers' final two games before the break, though his minutes will likely be sliced once Myles Turner (foot) is back in the lineup.

Lance Stephenson - Scores 21 off bench Stephenson registered 21 points (7-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Sunday's 129-120 loss to the Timberwolves.
Impact Stephenson has played in every game -- 28 straight -- since joining the team just before Christmas, but on most nights he sees 12-to-16 minutes off the bench, so he hasn't been fantasy relevant. For the most part, that likely won't change going forward, though with Chris Duarte (toe), who departed Sunday's contest early in the first quarter, out the next two games, Stephenson could be looking at increased minutes heading into the break. The man they call "Born Ready" can be very hit-or-miss when it comes to fantasy, however, so stream him at your own risk.

Buddy Hield - Plays 40 minutes Sunday Hield posted 13 points (6-19 FG, 1-13 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 40 minutes during Sunday's 129-120 loss to the Timberwolves.
Impact For the second straight game since coming over from Sacramento, Hield crossed the 40-minute threshold -- something he did only four times in 55 appearances this season for the Kings. Chris Duarte (toe) exiting the game in the first quarter certainly helped, but the Pacers appear intent on Hield being a bigger part of the offense, even on nights when he's ice-cold from three-point land. At some point, the Pacers could get Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) back, but until that happens, Hield should continue to see big minutes alongside fellow new addition Tyrese Haliburton. The eventual return of T.J. Warren (foot) could also impact Hield, though Warren hasn't played in an NBA game since December of 2020.

Oshae Brissett - Shines with 22 points, 13 boards Brissett finished with 22 points (9-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 37 minutes during Sunday's 129-120 loss to the Timberwolves.
Impact With Myles Turner (foot) still sidelined and Domantas Sabonis now a Sacramento King, the Pacers' frontcourt situation is going to be worth closely monitoring over the final two games before the All-Star break. Brissett started alongside Goga Bitadze on Sunday, but recent addition Jalen Smith went for 17 points and 12 rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench, while Bitadze was limited to only 19 minutes. Meanwhile, veteran Tristan Thompson was also in the mix, playing 15 minutes. Once Isaiah Jackson (ankle) is cleared to return, he'll also factor into the equation. Assuming Turner is back shortly after the break, there may only be room for one of the aforementioned players to emerge as a fantasy-viable option on most nights.

Tyrese Haliburton - Hands out 16 assists in loss Haliburton ended Sunday's 129-120 loss to the Timberwolves with 22 points (7-14 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 assists, five rebounds and one steal over 41 minutes.
Impact Haliburton continues to show that he's a high-level facilitator when given the opportunity, but he also drilled six three-pointers and extended his streak to five consecutive games with at least one steal. The recent addition has hit the ground running in Indiana, having played 40 and 41 minutes, respectively, in his first two games since coming over from Sacramento. With Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) still sidelined and without any concrete timetable whatsoever, there's a strong chance Haliburton functions as the Pacers' top offensive option for most of the remainder of the regular season.

Chris Duarte - Out at least two games Duarte (toe) won't play Tuesday against the Bucks or Wednesday against the Wizards after exiting Sunday's game against Minnesota, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
Impact Coach Rick Carlisle said Duarte jammed his toe against the Timberwolves, and the issue will keep him sidelined through the All-Star break. It's not yet clear whether the 24-year-old will be available for the Rising Stars game, but Duane Washington, Buddy Hield and Lance Stephenson should see additional playing time for the Pacers for at least the next two games.
