Bonner grad Isaiah Wong hoping to have found a home with Hornets “I feel like in every situation, every team needs something, and I just try to provide my best,” the former University of Miami player said.
Extended run in loss Wong ended Friday's 109-95 loss to Chicago with nine points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal over 22 minutes.
Impact Wong played a career-high 22 minutes, scoring nine points for the third straight game. The Hornets continue to struggle at the point guard position, trying to stay afloat until LaMelo Ball returns from his calf injury. Although it is unlikely Wong will take the starting job away from Vasilije Micic, he is someone to keep an eye on, at least until Ball makes his return to the court.

Headed to Charlotte The Hornets signed Wong to a two-way deal Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Impact Wong has been playing in the G League with the Salt Lake City Stars since being waived by the Jazz in early October. He's seventh in the G-League averaging 24.1 points per game along with 3.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals over 31.4 minutes. Wong's addition to the Hornets' roster gives Charlotte depth amid injuries to LaMelo Ball (calf), Tre Mann (back) Miles Bridges (knee).

Waived by Utah Wong was waived by the Jazz on Tuesday, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
Impact Wong was previously on an Exhibit 10 contract with the Jazz but was considered a long shot to make the team. He's expected to play for Salt Lake City in the G League this season.

Signs with Utah Wong agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Jazz on Monday, Sam Amico of HoopsWire.com reports.
Impact Wong was selected by the Pacers with the 55th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and spent most of last year in the G League. He averaged 14.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 27.0 minutes per game over 30 appearances in the G League and will attempt to carve out a role with the Jazz during camp this year. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see him land back in the G League this season.

Knocks down five threes Wong tallied 24 points (6-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 7-11 FT) and three assists over 22 minutes during Sunday's 100-85 Summer League loss to the Pistons.
Impact Wong was a bright spot for the Pacers in the team's Summer League finale, posting team-highs in scoring and assists. The 22-year-old will likely spend most of his time with Indiana's G-League affiliate with guards Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin and Andrew Nembhard likely to get most of the run.
