Grabs game-high 12 boards Poeltl accumulated 18 points (9-13 FG), 12 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 119-109 loss to Sacramento.
Impact Poeltl committed a game-high and season-high-tying five turnovers in the loss, but his poor showing in that category can be easily forgiven in light of his ample production in other areas. Though his playing time had been trending down over the past two weeks, Poeltl took back some minutes from backup Zach Collins while head coach Gregg Popovich opted for the bigger body to counter Kings center Domantas Sabonis. Trade rumors continue to swirl around Poeltl leading up to the Feb. 9 deadline, but fantasy managers shouldn't make any rash moves involving the 27-year-old until resolution comes on whether he'll remain in San Antonio or head elsewhere.

Strong night despite foul trouble Poeltl notched 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 16 minutes during Monday's 147-127 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Impact Poeltl couldn't escape foul trouble in the loss, managing just 15 minutes of playing time. However, he still managed to put together a decent performance, scoring in double digits for the fourth consecutive game. His block numbers have fallen away of late, however, as he's failed to block a shot for two consecutive games. The trade rumors continue to swirl, and while it would make sense for the Spurs to at least consider offers, nothing is certain in this league.
