Could be cleared by season's end Murray (knee) is expected to receive physical clearance to return to game action before the end of the regular season, a source familiar with his rehab program tells Mike Singer of... Impact Murray, who recently overcame a bout with COVID-19, has been sidelined all season while recovering from surgery to address a torn ACL in his left knee. Though he sustained the injury in mid-April of 2021 before undergoing surgery soon after, the Nuggets apparently have optimism that the 24-year-old will make his way back into the lineup in less than a full year. In his report, Singer notes that Murray's rehab process has been more difficult from a mental standpoint than a physical one, as he's never contended with a major injury at any point in his career. As such, Denver likely won't push Murray to get back on the court until he's fully comfortable, even if doctors give him the green light beforehand. Since Murray's recovery timeline is still fairly nebulous, he can't be counted on to be back for the fantasy playoffs in most head-to-head leagues.
