Nabs two-way deal from Miami Smart agreed Tuesday with the Heat on a two-way contract, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Impact Smart joins Kyle Guy as the second two-way player on the Heat roster, after Miami upgraded Caleb Martin (Achilles) to a standard NBA deal Tuesday. The undrafted rookie out of LSU previously joined the Heat out of training camp, but he made his NBA debut with the Bucks earlier in the season, appearing in 13 games at the NBA level and averaging 2.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12.3 minutes per contest. After Milwaukee cut Smart from his two-way deal in January, Smart rejoined the Heat's G League affiliate in Sioux Falls. Before agreeing to his two-way contract with Miami, Smart submitted another big outing for Sioux Falls on Tuesday, erupting for a career-high 40 points (11-18 FG, 8-13 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go with six assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block across 33 minutes in a 130-119 win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
