Triple-doubles once again Giddey closed Monday's 127-123 overtime win over the Knicks with 28 points (11-22 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 12 assists, 11 rebounds and one steal across 39 minutes. Impact For the second game in a row, Giddey came away with a triple-double and faced no limitations in terms of playing time after head coach Mark Daigneault recently hinted that the rookie would likely be capped at around 30 minutes through the All-Star break. Since Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) exited the lineup in late January, Giddey has been stellar as the lead playmaker out of the backcourt. In the nine games without Gilgeous-Alexander, Giddey is averaging 16.1 points, 8.9 boards, 7.2 assists, 1.0 three-pointers and 0.7 steals.
