Impact Olynyk's subpar season continued Saturday, playing fewer than 20 minutes for the eighth time in his past nine games. Over that span, he has scored in double-digits only once, adding very little else. The Pistons are clearly pointed in a different direction here, and Olynyk does not have a meaningful role. He can absolutely be a 12-team asset when afforded sufficient playing time but for this season, that appears highly unlikely.

Coming off a red hot finish to last season, Olynyk was viewed as a lock to be a 12-team asset this season, something that has obviously not come to fruition. Barring a massive shift in direction, he can be safely dropped in all competitive formats.
