Robert Covington - Remains out MondayCovington (personal) won't play Monday against the Cavaliers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ImpactCovington will miss a fifth consecutive game due to a personal matter. With Marcus Morris getting a rest day on Monday, Nicolas Batum could be in line for a heavy workload against the Cavs. Covington's next chance to return will be Wednesday against Toronto.

Marcus Morris Sr. - Won't play MondayMorris (rest) is out for Monday's game against the Cavaliers, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ImpactMorris and Reggie Jackson will both get rest days as the team travels to Cleveland to face the Cavs on Monday. As such, Terance Mann and Amir Coffey could see some extra minutes. Morris is averaging 16.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in 29.5 minutes per game this season, and he should rejoin the lineup Wednesday against the Raptors.

Reggie Jackson - Resting MondayJackson (rest) won't play in Monday's game against Cleveland, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ImpactJackson will miss his first game since Dec. 29, 2021 as he'll get a rest day against the Cavaliers for the second half of the Clippers' back-to-back. Jerami Grant - Pops with decent line in lossGrant ended Sunday's 106-102 loss to the Clippers with 21 points (7-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 37 minutes.
ImpactFor the most part, Grant has found his way back into good numbers after his extended absence earlier in the season, averaging 17.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 18 games since his return. However, his rebound numbers have been nowhere near where they were previously, and he's had some rocky performances as a scorer during the recent span. There's a very negative correlation between Grant and Cade Cunnghham's production, and Sunday was a rare night where both players fared well.

Marvin Bagley III - Strengthens grip on starting jobBagley racked up 15 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes during Sunday's 106-102 loss to the Clippers.
ImpactIt will be difficult for the Pistons to bench Bagley upon Isaiah Stewart's (knee) return. The former first-round pick put together another good performance in the paint, following up on a solid 20/11 double-double in the previous game. His tenure with the Kings was rocky and married by injuries, but Bagley could find a nice role and job security in Detroit if he can stay healthy. Bagely is arguably a more imposing frontcourt presence than Stewart, so it will be interesting to see how the Pistons divide their minutes when Stewart returns.
