Jae'Sean Tate - Picks up ankle injuryTate won't return to Wednesday's game against the Jazz due to left ankle soreness, Cayleigh Griffin of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.
ImpactTate took his usual place in the starting five Wednesday and appeared to suffer the injury early in the contest, though he attempted to return before officially being ruled out. The 26-year-old finished with nine points (3-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and one assist in 11 minutes, and he should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup with Denver until his status is updated.

Kevin Porter Jr. - Set to return WednesdayPorter (ankle) will be available for Wednesday's game against Utah, Alykhan Bijani of The Athletic reports.
ImpactPrior to Tuesday's game against the Clippers, coach Stephen Silas implied that Porter could miss both halves of the back-to-back, but he was surprisingly listed as probable earlier in the day and has now been fully removed from the injury report. All signs point to Porter returning to the starting lineup at point guard -- especially with Dennis Schroder (ankle) sidelined.

Dennis Schroder - Out WednesdaySchroder (ankle) is out Wednesday against the Jazz, Adam Wexler of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
ImpactThough Schroder is out, the Rockets will at least be getting back Kevin Porter (ankle), so the backcourt isn't in awful shape. Schroder's absence could result in more usage for Josh Christopher and Garrison Mathews (ankle).

Alperen Sengun - Well-rounded performance off benchSengun finished with 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist across 22 minutes Tuesday in the Rockets' 113-100 loss to the Clippers.
ImpactAfter serving as more of a strict backup to center Christian Wood in the first two games coming out of the All-Star break, the two big men saw some minutes alongside one another Tuesday. Sengun was able to pick up some extra run as a result and showcased a fantasy-friendly profile, but until head coach Stephen Silas is willing to consistently hand the big man 20-to-25 minutes per game, the rookie's production may be somewhat unreliable. He still makes for a high-upside option to fill out the back end of a 12-team roster, in case he can capture a larger role as the season winds down.
