Doesn't practice Tuesday James (knee) didn't practice Tuesday and underwent treatment on his left knee away from the practice facility, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. Impact Shams Charania of The Athletic reported earlier Tuesday that James is expected to miss Wednesday's game against Portland, and he may be sidelined for additional contests to follow. He's already missed three consecutive games due to irritation in his left knee and underwent an MRI on Sunday that revealed swelling, so he returned to Los Angeles to begin treatment. The Lakers play three games in the next four days and have just seven contests left before the All-Star break, but there's no clear timetable for James' return to game action. In his absence, Talen Horton-Tucker, Kent Bazemore and Stanley Johnson should see increased roles, but the Lakers will likely have to rely heavily on Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook if they want to stay in the playoff picture moving forward.
