Paul George - Out 'a few more weeks' The Clippers expect George (elbow) to remain out for "a few more weeks," Adrian Wojnarowski reported Tuesday on ESPN's "NBA Today."
Impact The Clippers haven't said much about George's prognosis since he initially suffered the sprained right elbow back in late December. Head coach Tyronn Lue said Monday that he didn't have any updates on the 31-year-old's status. There were rumblings earlier this month that George could miss the remainder of the season, and while that's still on the table, the Clippers hope that with additional rest, George could be back on the floor sometime around the All-Star break, per Wojnarowski. For now, fantasy managers have no choice but to wait and see how the situation plays out. At this stage, cutting George is far too risky.

Impact Lue also disclosed that George has been away from the team in recent days after a close contact of his tested positive for COVID-19, though the star wing isn't believed to have contracted the virus. In any case, the lack of a clear update regarding where George stands in his recovery from a torn UCL in his right elbow suggests that he'll more than likely be out for the rest of January, and possibly through the All-Star break. At the time George was diagnosed with the injury Dec. 25, the Clippers announced that he would be re-evaluated 3-to-4 weeks later. Per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported at the time George was shut down with the injury that the Clippers had "no real sense of when, or if he'll play again this season," so the 31-year-old's timeline truly looks to be open-ended. Fantasy managers are left with little recourse at this stage but to continue holding George with the hope that he doesn't need season-ending surgery to address the injury.

Impact Hartenstein saw his workload increase from six to 15 minutes, though the Clippers are continuing to closely monitor his minutes following his return from a left ankle sprain. He made the most of his 15 minutes of action, shooting with efficiency and also making a small impact on the defensive end of the court. As long as Hartenstein avoids any setbacks, expect his playing time to slowly creep north over the next few weeks.

Impact Coffey scored 16 points in an efficient manner on the way to victory, and he continues to look sharp behind the arc. He's 16-for-33 from three over his last five games and has finished with 16 points or more in four of those matchups. Coffey also dished out seven dimes for just the second time this season, with his other seven-assist outing taking place Jan. 11 against Denver.

Impact Morris fell just two boards shy of a double-double on the afternoon and recorded a block for the third time in his last four matchups. He continues to provide the Clippers with consistent scoring, averaging 18.6 points over his last seven games. He's also finished with 20-plus points three times in eight January games.
