Impact Russell finished one point behind Anthony Davis for team high-scoring honors Wednesday, pouring in 26 points on just 13 shots. The point guard hasn't been known for shooting efficiency throughout his career, but he's turned a corner this season, making a very respectable 46.6 percent of his shots. That ranks as the best rate of his career, as does his 39.1 percent mark from three-point range.

Impact Davis had just seven points at halftime Wednesday, but he was much more aggressive in scoring 20 points over the final two periods. The talented big man fell just one rebound shy of a fifth straight double-double, and he posted his highest assist total in over two weeks. Perhaps the only disappointing part of Davis' performance was his lack of blocks -- he didn't record any swats for just the second time since Feb. 11.

Impact Reaves was excellent Wednesday, leading Los Angeles and setting a career high with 11 assists. He was a major factor in the scoring department as well, finishing with 25 points thanks largely to a 12-for-13 mark from the charity stripe. Reaves moved into the starting unit Wednesday after going off for a 35/6/6 line his last time out, and chances are he'll remaining with the opening five given his -- and the team's -- performance against the Suns.

Impact Coach Darvin Ham teased a lineup change earlier Wednesday and ended up inserting Reaves into the first unit in place of Malik Beasley. It appears Reaves is being rewarded for his strong play after scoring a career-high 35 points Sunday to go along with six assists and six rebounds.
