Jalen McDaniels - Starting WednesdayMcDaniels will enter the first unit for Wednesday's game against Minnesota, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.

ImpactMcDaniels will join Immanuel Quickley, Garrett Temple, Gradey Dick and Malik Williams in the first unit for the shorthanded Raptors, who only have eight players available. It'll be McDaniels first start of 2023-24 and a strong opportunity to score in double figures for the fourth time this year.

Across 42 games with the Sioux Falls Fkyforce of the G League this season, Williams compiled averages of 10.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.2 assists, 0.9 three-pointers and 0.7 assists per contest, so he could be worth a dart throw in daily fantasy leagues.

ImpactTemple will make his first start in a little over two years. He'll benefit from a slew of Raptors injuries, with the team only having eight available players for Wednesday's tilt. During his last five appearances, Temple is averaging 5.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals.

With the Raptors having merely eight players available now, expect a heavy dose of Javon Freeman-Liberty, Jalen McDaniels and Garrett Temple on the wing. Trent's next chance to go will come Friday at Milwaukee.
