Chris Boucher - Empty performance FridayBoucher chipped in nine points (3-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 14 minutes during Friday's 131-125 loss to the Lakers.
ImpactBoucher continues to play a handful of extra minutes due to injuries, although he has been unable to make the most of his opportunity. The fact he is not measuring up even with three key pieces sidelined does not bode well for his production moving forward. At this point, it appears as though his best days are behind him.

RJ Barrett - Double-doubles in lossBarrett contributed 33 points (14-22 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and 12 assists in 32 minutes during Friday's 131-125 loss to the Lakers.
ImpactBarrett recorded his first double-double of the season, although interestingly, he tallied double-digit assists as opposed to rebounds. While an injury delayed his start to the season, Barrett has hit the ground running, having now scored at least 30 points in consecutive games. Across three games, he is averaging 28.0 points to go with 4.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 3.0 three-pointers in 31.3 minutes per game. His assist numbers are sure to take a hit once the Raptors start getting healthy bodies back on the floor. However, until then, just sit back and enjoy the show.

Rui Hachimura - Quiet again FridayHachimura finished Friday's 131-125 victory over Toronto with nine points (3-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 33 minutes.
ImpactHachimura managed just nine points in the loss, his second straight game scoring in single-digits. While it is frustrating, the positive is that his playing time has remained relatively consistent no matter his statistical output. He has exceeded 30 minutes in all but one game thus far, averaging 14.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 three-pointers. Despite his recent struggles, Hachimura should continue to serve as a key piece for the Lakers, making him a viable target.

Jaxson Hayes - Blocks two shots FridayHayes supplied four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and two blocks over 15 minutes during Friday's 131-125 victory over the Raptors.
ImpactHayes blocked a season-high two shots, although his playing time remains underwhelming. Anthony Davis has started the season on fire, limiting Hayes to just 15.7 minutes per night. While he can be a decent per-minute producer, he would need for Davis to miss time to have any shot at playing meaningful minutes.
