Impact After a prolonged absence while he recovered from the left knee surgery he underwent Feb. 4, Louzada has suited up in three straight games for the Trail Blazers, playing between 11 and 17 minutes in all of those contests. Since making the jump from Australia to the NBA late in the 2020-21 season, Louzada made only five appearances for the Pelicans. A 25-game suspension earlier in the current season for violating the NBA's anti-drug program may have cost him some playing time, but the defensive-minded wing hadn't been included in the Pelicans' rotation anyway. Impact Louzada suffered the injury while playing for the G League's Birmingham Squadron in mid-January. The surgery was likely delayed due to a stint in the NBA's health and safety protocols at the end of January, but he appears to have tested out and should be able to rehab at team facilities.
