Impact Kennard was considered doubtful prior to this update, so it's not a surprise to see the Grizzlies hold him out. Memphis is very shorthanded for Friday, so guys like Jordan Goodwin and Jake LaRavia could see heavy workloads.

Vince Williams Jr. - Ruled out for Friday Williams (knee) is out for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Impact Williams hasn't suited up since March 8 due to left patellar tendinitis, and that streak will now reach 13 games. He's also quite likely to miss the Saturday matchup against the 76ers, and at this point, it wouldn't be shocking if the Grizzlies rule him out for the rest of the season in the coming days.

Santi Aldama - Won't play Friday Aldama (foot) won't play Friday against the Pistons.
Impact Aldama was a late scratch before Wednesday's surprising win over the Bucks due to right foot soreness, and the lingering issue will prevent the Spaniard from suiting up Friday -- and possibly Saturday in the second half of the back-to-back set against the 76ers. Aldama is averaging 12.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game since the beginning of March.

Brandon Clarke - Won't play Friday Clarke (rest) won't suit up for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Impact Friday's game will be the first of a back-to-back set, so Clarke will take the night off as he continues to work himself back from the Achilles injury. With Clarke unavailable, expect more minutes for Jake LaRavia and Lamar Stevens, with LaRavia being the more attractive target between the two.

Jaren Jackson Jr. - Ruled out for Friday's game Jackson has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pistons due to right quadriceps tendinitis.
Impact Jackson hasn't missed a game since mid-March, but he'll sit out Friday after totaling 75 points over his last two appearances. Brandon Clarke (Achilles) has also been ruled out, so Trey Jemison and Lamar Stevens could see increased run in the frontcourt Friday.

Desmond Bane - Remains out Friday Bane (back) is out for Friday's game against Detroit.
Impact At this point of the season and with the Grizzlies out of the playoff race, it doesn't make sense to risk Bane down the stretch. This will be his fourth straight absence due to back soreness, and his next chance to play, as unlikely as it might be, will be a Saturday matchup against the 76ers at home.

John Konchar - Ruled out for Friday Konchar (heel) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Impact Konchar is set to spend his sixth straight game on the sidelines, and it's not encouraging that he continues to get ruled out a full 24 hours in advance of tip-off. Expect more minutes for GG Jackson, Jake LaRavia and Lamar Stevens.

Impact Including Friday's contest, Watanabe has now missed 17 games in a row, and it doesn't seem likely that he'll return to action before the end of the regular season. His next chance to play will come against the 76ers on Saturday in the second half of a back-to-back set.

Impact Friday's game is the first of a back-to-back set, so Kennard is expected to hit the sidelines, which should open up for Jordan Goodwin and Jake LaRavia. Check back for official confirmation on Kennard's status closer to Friday's tip.

Jordan Goodwin - Double-doubles in win over Bucks Goodwin finished with 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds and seven assists in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 111-101 win over the Bucks.
Impact Goodwin has scored in double digits in two of his last three appearances, and he seems to have carved a role off the bench in a depleted Memphis team that doesn't have much to play for in the final 10 days of the regular season. He could be a streaming option in deep formats, but other than that, his bench role doesn't provide a lot of upside.

Jaren Jackson Jr. - Extends hot streak Wednesday Jackson finished Wednesday's 111-101 win over the Bucks with 35 points (14-26 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals across 37 minutes.
Impact Jackson was coming off a 40-point performance against the Pistons on Monday, and he kept the hot hand going with another high-scoring effort in Memphis' upset win Wednesday. Jackson is ending the season on a strong note and has scored at least 25 points in five of his last eight appearances.

GG Jackson II - Posts double-double Wednesday Jackson recorded 15 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds and one assist over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 111-101 win over the Bucks.
Impact Jackson has been playing extremely well since being promoted to a starting role, scoring in double digits in each of his 10 consecutive starts while posting solid numbers overall. This was his first double-double in that span, but the rookie out of South Carolina is averaging 17.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in that stretch.
