Smart has two years left on his current contract and will look to make a better impression in Year 2 with Memphis after appearing in just 20 games in 2023-24. Impact Rose was given a three-week return timetable after being diagnosed with low back and groin soreness in early March. However, it doesn't make sense to rush the veteran back with the Grizzlies out of playoff contention. Rose struggled to stay healthy all season and made just 24 appearances (seven starts), averaging 8.0 points, 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 16.6 minutes. Rose is under contract with the Grizzlies for one more season.

Impact Williams was expected to be re-evaluated in early April, but it doesn't make sense to rush him back with the Grizzlies already out of playoff contention. With Memphis banged up, Williams saw extended playing early in the campaign and averaged 8.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 20.4 minutes across 51 appearances (15 starts). The 2021 first-round pick is under contract with the Grizzlies for one more season and will be 23 years old in September.

Impact Clarke tore his Achilles in early March last season and needed over a year to recover before he was able to return to NBA action. The Gonzaga product was able to give Memphis 21 minutes off the bench in his season debut, and he recorded a team-best plus-15 point differential while he was on the court. Given his long layoff, Clarke doesn't figure to see minutes much higher than the amount he played Wednesday, especially with the Grizzlies out of playoff contention.

Impact His efforts weren't enough to bring Memphis back against a suddenly hot Lakers squad, but LaRavia at least helped keep the Grizzlies from being completely blown out with 14 of his 25 points in the fourth period. Overall, the second-year forward scored all but four of his points from beyond the arc, and his seven three-pointers more than doubled his previous career-best mark of three. LaRavia is usually good for a triple or two per contest, so there's little reason to expect this type of output from deep on a consistent basis, though he has held some low-end fantasy value of late with averages of 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals through 14 games in March.
