After scoring just one point in his first two preseason games, he's scored 16 points while going 7-for-11 from the field in 35 minutes over the last two contests. The 22-year-old signed a two-year deal with Orlando in the offseason and will need more performances like his last two games to earn a spot in the Magic's rotation for the regular season.

The 23-year-old has been inconsistent shooting in four preseason games, going 8-for-13 on two occasions and making only one shot in two other contests. All in all, he's averaging 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 23.8 minutes while shooting 46.2 percent from the field.

ImpactThirteen of Banchero's 17 points came in the first half as he attempted only three shots in 13 second-half minutes. Tuesday's performance was arguably his best of the preseason and was the first time he made more than half his shots and grabbed more than five rebounds. The 19-year-old is averaging 13.3 points while making 43.5 percent of his field-goal attempts and going 17-for-18 from the charity stripe in four preseason games.
