Raptors Lottery Odds Shift Following Key Loss to GrizzliesThe Toronto Raptors helped their draft lottery odds Monday night with a potentially clutch loss to the Memphis Grizzlies
JANUARY 23STAR-TELEGRAM.COM
Dennis Schroder - Signs of life MondaySchroder notched 11 points (3-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Monday's 108-100 loss to Memphis.
ImpactSchroder entered Monday's contest having compiled 18 points and 14 assists on 7-for-18 shooting across his last three games. While his facilitation and efficiency continued to be lackluster Monday, his scoring volume received an uptick. Schoder remains a key component and tone setter in Toronto's rotation, but his fantasy stock is trending downward due to the continued acclimation of Immanuel Quickley.
JANUARY 23ROTOWIRE
Thaddeus Young - Effective off benchYoung chipped in 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 26 minutes during Monday's 108-100 loss to the Grizzlies.
ImpactJontay Porter played just six minutes because he was poked in the eye, but even though he was cleared to return, the Raptors opted for smaller lineups. Young put together arguably his best performance of the season, so it will be interesting to see if this earns him a larger role going forward.
