Josh Green - Poor production despite startGreen ended Wednesday's 98-94 loss to the Heat with six points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one block across 30 minutes.
ImpactGreen continues to start for the Hornets, although his production tells another story. To this point, he has scored double-digits only five times, with a season-high total of just 15 points, coming in back-to-back games earlier in the month. He should continue to play meaningful minutes but as we have seen throughout his career, meaningful production is unlikely to follow.

Vasilije Micic - Rare appearance in lossMicic registered six points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across 14 minutes during Wednesday's 98-94 loss to the Heat.
ImpactMicic cracked the rotation for just the fourth time in the past 15 games, continuing his disappointing start to the season. After a strong run to end the 2023-24 campaign, Micic has seen his role vanish, typically used as nothing more than a depth piece. As the Hornets start to get bodies back on the floor, there is a chance Micic could be removed from the rotation altogether at some point in the not-too-distant future.

LaMelo Ball - Quantity over quality in lossBall logged 32 points (11-35 FG, 7-20 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds and seven assists across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 98-94 loss to Miami.
ImpactBall scored at least 30 points for the fourth straight game, albeit on high volume and low efficiency. With the Hornets very thin at the moment, Ball has taken it upon himself to shoulder the bulk of the offensive load, firing up 130 shot attempts over those four games. While his shot selection may be somewhat of an issue, the lack of a supporting cast should result in him continuing on his merry way.

Alec Burks - Barely sees floor in winBurks notched two points (1-1 FG) and three rebounds over six minutes during Wednesday's 98-94 victory over the Hornets.
ImpactBurks played a season-low six minutes in the win, continuing an underwhelming start to the season. To this point, Burks has scored double-digits only twice, while also racking up six DNP-CD's. Despite his offensive skill set, it appears as though Burks could be on the outside looking in when it comes to regular and consistent minutes.
2 HOURS AGOROTOWIRE
Kel'el Ware - Limited role continuesWare finished with four points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one block and one steal over 12 minutes during Wednesday's 98-94 victory over Charlotte.
ImpactWare continues to be used sparingly off the bench, logging double-digit minutes for just the second time all season. Despite putting together a strong preseason, Ware has struggled to carve out a consistent role. It does appear as though he has edged ahead of Thomas Bryant in the rotation, something that is certainly a step in the right direction. However, barring an injury to Bam Adebayo, Ware is likely to be limited moving forward.
2 HOURS AGOROTOWIRE
Duncan Robinson - Catches fire in winRobinson amassed 22 points (7-12 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 98-94 win over the Hornets.
ImpactRobinson dropped a season-high 22 points, continuing to start in place of Terry Rozier. The sharp-shooter has now scored double-digits in four of the past five games, connecting on 17 total three-pointers. While his exact role remains somewhat clouded, it's safe to say the Heat need his scoring right now. He should continue to play meaningful minutes, at least while his shot is falling.
