Impact Conley has been doing a good job as the Timberwolves' main playmaker out of the backcourt, and while his usage rate could decrease now that Karl-Anthony Towns is back in the mix, he remains a solid contributor, particularly in the assists category. Conley has scored in double digits in seven of his last 1o games, averaging 13.8 points and 5.9 assists per game in that span.

Impact Despite the loss, the Timberwolves have to be encouraged by Conley's recent stat lines. The veteran has also enjoyed a great attendance record during his first full season in Minneapolis, missing only six games during the 2023-24 campaign. Conley has 10 three-pointers over his last two games, and converted 55.6 percent of his long-range shots in the process.

Although Conley's not at risk of losing his starting role, Nickeil Alexander-Walker had a solid result during his absence and scored 13 points off the bench during Friday's loss. At the very least, Alexander-Walker's usage is likely to increase, which could cut into Conley's usual load.
