Lillard should continue ramping up ahead of the regular-season opener against the 76ers on Oct. 23, as he figures to be a key figure for the Bucks following a disappointing 2023-24 campaign.

Impact Portis was efficient with his shot and made the most of his minutes out there, though it's not like he's competing for a role off the bench or anything like that heading into the 2024-25 campaign. Portis is penciled to operate as the Bucks' sixth man and plug-in starter whenever there's a frontcourt player unavailable due to his versatility on both ends of the court. He figures to see steady minutes off the bench once the Bucks open the regular season against the 76ers on Sep. 23.

Ruled out with elbow injury Trent has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's preseason game against the Pistons due to left elbow hyperextension injury, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Impact Trent injured his elbow while trying to get around a screen from Jalen Duren, and the former left for the locker room shortly after. Trent registered five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and one rebound before leaving Sunday's game. The Bucks' next preseason game will take place Thursday against the Lakers.

While Wednesday's signing indicates he may be ready to go, there haven't been any official updates on his recovery. Davis averaged 6.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 13.1 minutes per game in 2022-23 with Sacramento. He spent the 23-24 campaign in the G League.
