Jordan Hawkins - Scores 13 in garbage time Hawkins accumulated 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one rebound in six minutes during Friday's 111-95 loss to the Clippers.
Impact Hawkins saw all of his playing time in the fourth quarter with the Pelicans down by 24 points. He ended up leading the bench in scoring and finished tied for the leading scorer with Jonas Valanciunas. He won't get many minutes while Brandom Ingram and Trey Murphy are playing, but Hawkins' brief outing Friday is a good sign for the 2023 first-round pick out of Connecticut.

Impact Murphy sat out the Pelicans' last three games due to a knee issue. He showed some rust in Friday's loss when he missed eight of his nine shots and shot 16.7 percent from beyond the arc. Murphy was productive in December before his knee injury and averaged 14.8 points on 47.2 percent shooting (including 42.3 percent from three), 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists over 27.0 minutes per game last month.

Jonas Valanciunas - Notches double-double in loss Valanciunas registered 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block across 23 minutes during Friday's 111-95 loss to the Clippers.
Impact Valanciunas registered his second double-double in his last three games. He was also the leading scorer for the Pelicans in Friday's loss, in a game when Zion Williamson left in the second half with a right leg contusion. Valanciunas is averaging 14.7 points and 9.7 assists this season, but he hasn't played 30-plus minutes since Dec. 26 as he's split time in the front court with Larry Nance.
