Jose Alvarado - Solid performance off bench Friday Alvarado closed with 17 points (6-16 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes during Friday's 108-102 loss to the Nets.
Impact Alvarado didn't shoot the ball particularly well, but he still ended with a decent stat line off the bench. He's now scored in double digits in back-to-back games, but the nature of his bench role and the inconsistencies of his shot make him a tough player to roster outside of deep fantasy formats. He's averaging just 9.9 points per game since the start of December, which is even worse considering that he had a 38-point game against the Nuggets during that span.

Naji Marshall - Excellent once again Marshall racked up 23 points (6-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and three steals in 33 minutes during Friday's 108-102 loss to the Nets.
Impact Marshall is making the most of his opportunity with both Brandon Ingram (toe) and Zion Williamson (hamstring) sidelined, and he pushed his streak of games with double-digit points to four while also reaching a new season-high mark in scoring. He's averaging 14.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game across 11 starts this season.

CJ McCollum - Goes for 28 points in defeat McCollum totaled 28 points (10-24 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six rebounds, six assists and two blocks in 37 minutes during Friday's 108-102 loss to the Nets.
Impact McCollum has been tasked with a more significant responsibility on offense with both Brandon Ingram (toe) and Zion Williamson (hamstring) sidelined, and the veteran has responded. He's now scored at least 25 points in each of his three appearances in 2023 and should remain one of New Orleans's go-to players on offense for at least the upcoming two or three weeks. He's averaging 26.1 points per game over his last 10 appearances.

Brandon Ingram - Hopes to return on road trip Ingram (toe) said Friday that he hopes to return during the Pelicans' upcoming five-game road trip, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Starting Saturday in Dallas, New Orleans plays five road games over the next 10 days. Ingram, who hasn't played since Nov. 25, is aiming to return during one of those contests, but even if he's cleared, it may take some time for him to shake off the rust and return to top form. Before his absence, Ingram had scored at least 20 points in eight of his 14 appearances, posting 21.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 33.1 minutes during that stretch.

Impact Nance has missed four straight games, three due to a neck contusion and one with right shoulder soreness. He was initially listed as questionable for Friday due to the shoulder injury, but it appears the versatile big man has moved past both issues and will return to game action against Brooklyn. Across 29 appearances, Nance is averaging 8.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 22.8 minutes, but given his extended time off, he may see limited playing time Friday.
