Jose Alvarado - Contributes 20 points off bench Alvarado notched 20 points (6-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), one rebound, two assists and three steals over 25 minutes during Friday's 128-117 win over Phoenix.
Impact Alvarado had a terrific first half shooting the ball, knocking down five of seven shots for 16 points, including all three of his attempts from beyond the arc. He added only four more points in the second half on 1-of-3 shooting, though he did grab two of his three steals in the fourth quarter to help close out the Suns. Alvarado has now scored at least 20 points in two of his last three contests after previously failing to hit that mark in 2022-23.

Larry Nance Jr. - Solid all around in win Nance finished Friday's 128-117 victory over the Suns with 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, one block and four steals across 24 minutes.
Impact Nance made his only three field-goal attempts in the first half for seven points, adding three assists and three rebounds to help New Orleans get out to a 55-52 lead at the break. He went 4-of-7 from the field for another 11 points in the second half while also grabbing six boards and three of his game-high four steals over the final two quarters. The Pelicans forward had gone three straight games without scoring in double figures prior to Friday's win over Phoenix and matched a season high with nine rebounds in the contest.

Impact Valanciunas had a dreadful night shooting the ball, going 0-of-6 from the field in the first quarter before finishing the first half with just six points to go along with seven rebounds. He went just 1-of-4 in the second half but still managed another six points after going 4-for-4 at the free-throw line to notch his second double-double. The Pelicans' center now has 11 double-doubles on the season and four in his last five contests.

Zion Williamson - Takes over in second half Williamson finished Friday's 128-117 victory over Phoenix with 35 points (13-17 FG, 9-12 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 37 minutes.
Impact Williamson put on a show Friday night, scoring 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field in the first half before pouring in another 22 over the final two quarters to give him a game and season-high 35 points. The Pelicans star only missed two shots in each half and put his stamp on the game late with multiple explosive plays, including a 360-degree windmill dunk with just seconds left in the fourth quarter. It was Williamson's fourth game this season with at least 30 points, and he's now shooting 65.6 percent from the field in December.
