Herbert Jones - Strong defensive effort Thursday Jones amassed 16 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists and four steals in 40 minutes during Thursday's 115-109 loss to the Suns.
Impact The points, assists and steals were all new playoff highs for the rookie, but Jones' performance wasn't enough to force a Game 7. He averaged 10.7 points, 3.3 boards, 1.8 assists and 1.8 steals over six games against Phoenix, and while he should remain in a complementary role behind CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram next season, plus Zion Williamson, the Pelicans will be looking for Jones to take a step forward.

Brandon Ingram - Double-double not enough in Game 6 Ingram totaled 21 points (8-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, 11 assists and one steal across 44 minutes during Thursday's 115-109 loss to the Suns.
Impact It was an impressive performance from the 24-year-old, who recorded a double-double involving assists for the first time since early February, but it wasn't enough to keep the Pelicans' season alive. Ingram averaged 27.0 points, 6.2 boards, 6.2 assists and 1.8 threes in six games against the Suns, and it will be interesting to see if he can come close to that production in 2022-23 with the benefit of having CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson at his side all season.
