ImpactDaniels will miss a fifth straight game Thursday due to a right ankle sprain. Head coach Willie Green said Jan. 25 that Daniels would be "out for a little bit of time," but the team hasn't provided any updates since. Daniels' next chance to suit up will come Saturday against the Lakers.

The severity of the issue remains unclear, but if Gordon is forced to miss any time, Bruce Brown, Jeff Green and Christian Braun would be candidates for increased roles.

Though his production in the past two games isn't anything eye-popping, Murphy has at least provided some hope that he can retain some utility in 12-team category leagues even with Brandon Ingram having returned to action following an extended absence. Murphy could find it more difficult to hold down a regular 30-minute role once Zion Williamson (hamstring) is playing again, however.

ImpactBack in action after a one-game absence due to a sprained thumb, McCollum settled back in as the Pelicans' co-leading scorer with Herbert Jones, though it came with poor shooting from the field. On a positive note, McCollum was perfect from the free-throw line, which is something fantasy managers shouldn't take for granted coming off a season in which he converted at a 68.2 percent rate on 2.7 attempts per game. He's shown some improvement in that regard in 2022-23, with his percentage now sitting at 79 on 3.1 attempts per game through 46 appearances on the season.
