ImpactHayes posted season highs in points, rebounds, assists and minutes Friday. However, fantasy managers shouldn't get too excited unless Zion Williamson (COVID-19 protocols) misses extended time, as Hayes has been out of the Pelicans' rotation for much of the season.

ImpactJones has value for the Pelicans as a three-and-D threat on the wing, but the numbers hadn't been good enough to make him valuable in most fantasy formats. In fact, this was the first time he reached the 15-point mark since Nov. 18. He's averaging 10.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in December.

ImpactMurphy is settling well as a starter and has been enjoying more and more opportunities of late with both Zion Williamson (COVID-19) and Brandon Ingram (toe) out, and that would explain why he's scored in double digits in four of his last five outings. He's averaging 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in December while shooting 43.4 percent from the field and 38.7 percent from deep, and while those numbers are solid to keep him rostered in most formats, his playing time and opportunities to contribute will decrease once either Williamson or Ingram return to the hardwood.

McCollum had been struggling for a big chunk of the season but is turning things around of late, scoring in double digits in eight games in a row and averaging 25.5 points, 6.6 assists and 5.9 rebounds per contest in that span.

He's on an impressive run of late and has scored in double digits in 10 games in a row, averaging 15.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game in that span.
