Impact Towns was traded from the Timberwolves to the Knicks in late September and figures to be a cornerstone for New York in 2024-25, presumably starting and center and operating as the team's second option on offense behind Jalen Brunson. There will be some adjustment period, but Towns should eventually adjust to playing in a different environment after playing each of his previous nine seasons with Minnesota.
