Andrew Nembhard - Hands out nine assistsNembhard scored 15 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3 Pt, 1-1FT) with nine assists, four rebounds and two blocks in 26 minutes against the Knicks on Wednesday.
ImpactNembhard came alive in the fourth, going 5-of-7 from the field with two three pointers after shooting just 1-of-5 for the first three quarters. He was instrumental in helping the Pacers come from behind and secure a lead to finish out the game. After blocking a driving layup attempt from Jalen Brunson with 1:41 left in the third, Nembhard handed out two assists and also grabbed a steal as the Pacers finished the quarter on a 7-0 run. His five turnovers were the only blemish on an otherwise-solid night for the Pacers guard.

ImpactMathurin hit all four of his shots in the first quarter, the last two of which came off assists from Andrew Nembhard. The Pacers guard was quiet after that until the fourth quarter when he added another nine points on 3-of-5 shooting. However, he also fouled out of the game (albeit with 24 seconds left), with five of his fouls coming in the fourth.

Jalen Brunson - Grabs eight reboundsBrunson put up 11 points (4-14 FG, 1-3 3 Pt, 2-4 FT) while adding eight rebounds, three assists and a steal in 30 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Pacers.
ImpactBrunson didn't have the best night shooting the ball, going just 1-for-8 from the field from the second quarter on. However, the Knicks point guard partly made up for it on the defensive end with eight rebounds, seven of which came in the first half. Brunson appears to be gaining chemistry with his new teammates heading into the regular season.

ImpactBarrett had a solid night overall with the exception of going just 1-of-5 from the three-point line. He had two nice assists in the first quarter to Julius Randle for three, and then to Obi Toppin for an easy dunk, while shooting 3-of-7 in the first half. The Knicks guard then added 12 third-quarter points before watching his team blow the lead in the fourth quarter from the bench.
