Although he'll likely continue to be evaluated ahead of Tuesday's game, he doesn't appear to be dealing with a particularly significant injury. Impact Claxton went to the locker room in the first half of Sunday's matchup but started the second half for the Nets. However, he was unable to finish the third quarter and will be unavailable down the stretch. Prior to his departure, he recorded eight points (4-4 FG, 0-2 FT) and five rebounds in 16 minutes. Whether he'll be available Tuesday in Sacramento remains to be seen.

Impact Claxton established his presence on the boards early, racking up five first-quarter rebounds and also blocking John Wall on a driving layup attempt. The Nets big man added another three rebounds in the second quarter, giving him eight at the half to go along with five points on 2-of-3 shooting. He was a bit more aggressive from the field in the second half, knocking down four of six shots for eight points while also grabbing another six rebounds to give him his fifth double-double of the season. Claxton also recorded a game-high three blocks in the contest.

Impact Claxton failed to record a double-double for the first time in three games this season, but he still had a nice line with 16 points, seven boards and two blocks. The fourth-year center is taking full advantage of the opportunity to start, posting per-game averages of 16.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots while shooting an ultra-efficient 75 percent from the field through three games. Fantasy managers who nabbed Claxton in their draft have certainly reaped the rewards thus far.

Impact Claxton did exactly what he needed to despite the end result, capturing a double-double to go with a pair of blocked shots. Penciled in for around 25 minutes per night, this was a fine example of what managers can expect moving forward. Barring injury, he should have no problem flirting with top-100 value for the majority of the season, even when considering his poor free-throw shooting.

Impact Claxton struggled at the charity stripe but was very efficient from the field, missing only one of eight shots. He was just as effective on the defensive end, racking up three steals and three blocks. For good measure, Claxton crashed the boards, and four of his rebounds were on the offensive end. The fourth-year center could be a solid source of rebounds and blocks this season, as he's expected to be a full-time starter for the first time in his career.
