Recovering well from COVID-19 Denver head coach Michael Malone said Wednesday that Jokic (illness) "feels great" while recovering from the coronavirus and is on track to join the Nuggets when the team heads to... Impact Shortly after the news of Jokic's positive test arrived last week, reports surfaced indicating that the star center wasn't showing any symptoms of COVID-19 and was progressing well, so Malone's comments on the matter aren't overly surprising. Even so, it's encouraging for the Nuggets that Jokic, who is currently in Serbia, still plans to return to the United States to join the team when it heads to Orlando next Tuesday. Because he'll miss out on a few training sessions, Jokic could find himself behind the rest of his teammates from a conditioning standpoint, but he shouldn't face any restrictions by the time the playoffs begin.
