Slated to return Monday Okongwu (personal) isn't on the injury report for Monday's game against the Bucks, Lauren L. Williams of MLive.com reports.

Impact Okongwu missed Saturday's game against Philadelphia for personal reasons, but he'll be back in action following a one-game absence. He's played at least 20 minutes in each of his last three appearances and has averaged 8.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in 21.0 minutes per game during that time.

Impact At this point, there is no reason to believe Okonwu will be sidelined for more than one game. In his absence, John Collins could see some extra run at center behind Clint Capela. If there is foul trouble, Frank Kaminsky could potentially get some run.

Impact Okangwu took only two shots through the first three quarters, connecting on one of them for two points while also grabbing six rebounds over that stretch. However, the Hawks power forward played a big role off the bench in the fourth quarter, going a perfect 4-of-4 from the field for eight points while adding another five rebounds to give him his first double-double of the season. Okangwu has scored in double figures in six of seven games this season in which he's played at least 20 minutes and is developing into a solid piece off the bench for Atlanta.

Impact Okongwu has been unable to take the next step many had been hoping for this season, mired to a 20-minute-per-night role. The future is certainly bright but unless he can usurp Clint Capela as the preferred center option, his path to minutes is tough. For those who drafted him this season, it is difficult to make a case for hanging on. If you can play the waiting game, by all means, do so. For those who need immediate production, it could be time to look elsewhere.
