Tyrone Wallace Jr. - Inking deal with New OrleansWallace is signing a 10-day contract with the Pelicans on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ImpactWallace hasn't seen NBA action since 2019 and has been in the G League this season, where he's averaged 21.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.8 minutes. The 27-year-old will provide backcourt depth for New Orleans with Brandon Ingram (hamstring) and CJ McCollum (COVID-19 protocols) out for the near future.

CJ McCollum - Lands in protocolsMcCollum is out Friday against the Hornets due to health and safety protocols, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactFantasy managers should expect McCollum to miss time beyond Friday even with the NBA's relaxed protocols compared to earlier in the season. New Orleans figures to be quite shorthanded over the next week, as Brandon Ingram (hamstring) was ruled out for a week as of Wednesday. More minutes should be in store for Devonte' Graham, Tony Snell, Jose Alvarado and Garrett Temple.

Jalen Suggs - Struggles mightily in returnSuggs (ankle) produced two points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 20 minutes Wednesday in the Magic's 108-102 win over the Pelicans.
ImpactSuggs returned after missing the previous two games with a sprained right ankle, but the Magic may have been better off letting him sit out another contest. He recorded nearly as many combined points, rebounds and assists as turnovers (five) in the loss, with the performance being arguably his worst of the season. Assuming his knee is feeling fine coming out of the game, however, Suggs should see a slight increase in playing time Friday against the Timberwolves.
