Impact Connaughton left Thursday's loss to the Suns after suffering the right finger injury and is expected to be sidelined indefinitely. The Bucks traded Donte DiVincenzo to the Kings ahead of the deadline, so Grayson Allen and Wesley Matthews should pick up additional run on the wing during the duration of Connaughton's absence. However, the Bucks have also been rumored to be heavily involved in the buyout market, which should start to heat up soon now that the trade deadline dust has settled, so they could add additional backcourt depth to fill Connaughton's void for the time being.

Impact Connaughton might have been able to play through the injury if it was to his left hand, but the fact that he's dealing with a fracture to a finger on his shooting hand makes it likely that he'll be sidelined through the All-Star break, if not longer. The Bucks could have a better idea regarding Connaughton's timeline once the team determines whether he'll need surgery to address the injury or if he'll be able to recover through rest and rehab. With Connaughton out and Donte DiVincenzo having been shipped out to Sacramento earlier Thursday, Grayson Allen and Wesley Matthews should pick up additional run on the wing in the meantime.
