Impact Connaughton did the majority of his scoring from beyond the arc in this one by knocking down four of six attempts. He's been red hot from deep of late, as he's hit 52.3 percent of his triples over his last seven matchups.

Efficient against Denver Connaughton totaled 19 points (7-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt), 12 rebounds, two assists and two steals over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 107-99 victory over the Nuggets.

Impact Connaughton missed just one shot from the field and also recorded a season-high mark in boards en route to his second double-double of the season. The former Notre Dame standout continues to start despite Khris Middleton's return to action, and he has been doing a decent job across the board with 10.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game since Dec. 25. He's expected to eventually return to the bench once Middleton is cleared to play more minutes, but until then, he should remain a valuable asset in most formats.

Impact Connaughton made a spot start on Christmas Day and has not let go of the starting gig since then. He continues to make an impact every time he steps on the court and will likely be called upon often while Milwaukee deals with injuries to Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) and Khris Middleton (knee). Even though Connaughton hasn't been very consistent with his scoring figures on a game-to-game basis, he continues to deliver decent value as a streaming alternative due to his tendency to contribute in peripheral categories. He's averaging 9.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 14 starts since Dec. 25.

It's been a difficult season for the 29-year-old as he missed the first 15 games with a calf injury and has made just 34.0 percent of his shots in the 15 contests he's appeared in. Last season was arguably his best season as he posted personal bests in points and minutes and made 39.5 percent of his three-pointers. He's not yet returned to that form but it's unlikely he will continue to struggle so severely from the field and a positive regression to the mean seems likely moving forward.
