Impact Beal was a true game-time call, but he'll power through his ankle issue Thursday night. That's great news for a Phoenix team that will be very shorthanded in the absence of Devin Booker (hip). Beal's usage rate is likely to be much higher than usual versus the Jazz.

Impact The good news is that Booker is only being listed as "day-to-day," so there's a chance he'll return to the floor for Saturday's game in Golden State. Bradley Beal (ankle) is headed for a game-time call, and if he's forced to join Booker on the sidelines, that would create a lot of opportunity for Eric Gordon and Grayson Allen.

Impact With the addition of Thaddeus Young, Brooklyn's forward rotation had become too clogged, so O'Neale's departure makes sense. The veteran forward is averaging 7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 24.5 minutes across 49 appearances in 2023-24. In Phoenix, O'Neale will likely provide much-needed spacing and perimeter defense off the bench to support the team's big three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.

Impact Beal followed up a season-high 43 points with another productive outing. The veteran recorded a season-high 10 rebounds against the Bucks, who played short-handed without Brook Lopez and Damian Lillard. Although Beal's shot can betray him at times, his secondary contributions are almost always balanced and prop up his fantasy totals effectively.

Impact Booker made plays all over the court on night where Phoenix's elites kept the ball for themselves. The Suns only recorded 17 assists in the contest but shot 50.6 percent as a team, indicating a formula that favored on-the-ball playmaking over ball distribution. Booker certainly took matters into his own hands often, and playing alongside Bradley Beal has allowed Booker to be more aggressive. Booker has averaged 30.8 points, 6.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals over 15 games since Beal's return.

It didn't matter who was filling in, as Robin Lopez and Bobby Portis had their hands full with Jusuf Nurkic also holding court under the basket. Whenever Durant had an open lane, he was able to contend against Giannis Antetokounmpo and slash inside for easy shots. Durant will now enjoy a couple of nights at home after a 4-3 run over seven away games.
