ImpactUnsurprisingly, Johnson looked rusty during his limited time on the court Friday in what marked his first action since March 4 after a 13-game absence due to a bruised right quad. Prior to getting hurt, Johnson had averaged 21.8 points, 4.5 triples, 3.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists in 29.7 minutes per contest over a six-game stretch, though it bears mentioning that Chris Paul was sidelined for all of those contests while Devin Booker missed four. Phoenix now has all its core rotation players back to full strength heading into the final five games of the regular season, and with the team having already clinched the NBA's best record, head coach Monty Williams may not be eager to ramp up Johnson's playing time in advance of the postseason.
