Impact Grant was a late scratch against Denver on Friday and has been dealing with back issues for roughly a week. Toumani Camara started in his place Friday and produced 10 points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, two steals and one block in 24 minutes.

Impact Portlands's backcourt shifted into high gear to account for Jerami Grant's absence as Simons and Scoot Henderson has excellent showings in the defeat. The Trail Blazers utilized a three-guard combo anchored by Deandre Ayton for most of the game, and Simons only took a seat twice over 37 minutes. Although his numbers have jumped around a bit, he's averaged 23.5 points, 5.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds since a one-game absence two weeks ago.

Explodes for 30 points Henderson accumulated 30 points (8-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 11-12 FT), five rebounds and two assists over 37 minutes during Friday's 120-108 loss to the Nuggets.

Impact Henderson did most of his damage in the second quarter after Toumani Camara faded into the woodwork. Portland found the most success with a small-ball lineup of Henderson, Malcom Brogdon and Anfernee Simons as they tried to stay competitive without Jerami Grant (back) in the lineup. The wheels fell off when Henderson took a seat in the third quarter, and although he helped the team get back on track with seven points in the fourth quarter, Grant's absence was sorely felt despite masterful efforts from the backcourt.
