CJ McCollum - Off injury reportMcCollum (conditioning) isn't listed on Portland's injury report and should be available for Monday's game against the Magic, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site repo...
ImpactHoldahl suggests that while McCollum is poised to make his return to the Portland lineup for the first time since Dec. 4, the 30-year-old will most likely face some sort of minutes restriction. After he was diagnosed in December with a pneumothorax, McCollum has since made a full recovery, but he's still presumably behind the rest of his healthy teammates from a conditioning standpoint. He could need a few games to fully ramp up before he's deemed ready to handle the 35.3 minutes per game he had been averaging prior to his shutdown. With Damian Lillard (abdomen) likely out for at least the next two months, McCollum should see an uptick in playmaking and scoring opportunities compared to earlier in the season.

Cody Zeller - Remains out MondayZeller (knee) won't play Monday against the Magic, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ImpactZeller will miss a third straight game due to right knee soreness. His next chance to suit up will be Wednesday against the Heat.
JANUARY 16, 2022ā€¢ROTOWIRE
CJ Elleby - Likely to sit with sprained ankleElleby is dealing with a sprained right ankle and is listed as doubtful for Monday's game in Orlando, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ImpactCJ McCollum is expected to make his return to the lineup following an extended absence due to a collapsed lung and Norman Powell (COVID-19 protocols) has been upgraded to questionable, so if both players are available, the expected absence of Elleby shouldn't hinder Portland too much from a depth perspective. The second-year wing out of Washington State has played double-digit minutes in five straight contests, averaging 6.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.8 treys over that span.

Larry Nance Jr. - Won't play MondayNance (knee) won't play Monday against the Magic, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ImpactNance will miss a sixth straight game due to right knee inflammation. His next chance to return is Wednesday against the Heat.
JANUARY 16, 2022ā€¢ROTOWIRE
Norman Powell - Could return MondayPowell (COVID-19 protocols) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Magic, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ImpactPowell hasn't officially exited the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, but the Trail Blazers' decision to upgrade him to questionable suggests that could happen before Monday's 7 p.m. ET tipoff. Shooting guard CJ McCollum (conditioning) is already expected to make his return to the lineup Monday, so if active, Powell would likely shift up to small forward, while Anfernee Simons runs the point. Portland should have another update on Powell's status following the team's morning shootaround Monday.
JANUARY 16, 2022ā€¢ROTOWIRE
Davis Bertans - Lifted from injury reportBertans (foot) doesn't appear on the Wizards' injury report ahead of Monday's game against the 76ers.
ImpactMeanwhile, Bradley Beal (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) has been upgraded to questionable for the contest, so if he plays, the Wizards could have all members of their projected rotation available for the first time all season. The recent returns of Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant has created more crowding in the Washington frontcourt, so Bertans could end up finding himself as the odd man out for a rotation spot. Before he was sidelined for Saturday's loss to the Trail Blazers with a left foot sprain, Bertans had been holding down a bit role on the second unit. He played fewer than 15 minutes in each of his last four appearances.
