Misses practice Thursday Kings coach Mike Brown said Holmes missed practice Thursday while dealing with a stomach ailment, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.

Impact Holmes is expected to be the Kings' backup center behind Domantas Sabonis this season. The veteran big man should not miss any regular season time with this stomach ailment, but will be worth monitoring for Sunday's preseason game versus Portland.

Impact Holmes saw a sharp decrease in playing time after the Kings trade for Domantas Sabonis last season, and he'll begin the season slotted with the second unit. It doesn't seem like there's a plan to play Sabonis and Holmes together much, so the latter probably won't be fantasy-viable in standard leagues.
