Plays 23 minutes in debut Covington provided 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes during Sunday's 137-113 loss to the Bucks. Impact Playing in his first game with the Clippers after coming over from Portland via trade Friday, Covington settled into a solid role off the bench, essentially serving as the top reserve at forward behind Marcus Morris and Nicolas Batum. It's unclear if he'll eventually usurp one of those two players for a starting spot, but either way Covington should play enough minutes to continue providing his usual, all-around production. The veteran's scoring and efficiency have dropped off considerably over the last two seasons, making him a less-attractive fantasy option, but he's still averaging 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks to go with 1.7 made three-pointers through 49 games this season.
