Takes lead role Westbrook produced 35 points (12-23 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), four rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes during Friday's 117-114 loss to the Hornets. Impact With Anthony Davis (wrist) and LeBron James (knee) sidelined, Westbrook took control and scored a season-high 35 points. However, the Lakers fell just short again after the star point guard missed a go-ahead three with just a few seconds remaining in regulation. Nonetheless, it was one of Westbrook's more efficient shooting nights of the season, which is an encouraging sign for fantasy managers. It's also worth noting that Westbrook, along with nearly half of Los Angeles' roster, was questionable heading into the contest with a knee issue. It didn't appear to impact his play Friday, but it may be something to keep an eye on moving forward.
