Avoids major damage, out Wednesday Fox has avoided structural damage in his knee and revealed a bone bruise, but he has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Heat, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Impact When players go for an MRI, there are inherent thoughts of a long-term issue, so his results are at least encouraging. The star point guard will sit out at least a game Wednesday because of the issue, which positions Davion Mitchell -- who broke out in extended run Monday -- in position to join the starting lineup. Veteran Matthew Dellavedova could also line up for a few extra minutes off the bench.

Impact Huerter has gone for 26-plus in back-to-back games and filled out the rest of his stat line nicely Monday, which isn't something he usually accomplishes. Huerter attempted a season-high 16 shots -- including 10 from beyond the arc. His recent efforts should put him on track for sizable run and usage, especially if De'Aaron Fox misses time following an early exit with a knee injury Monday. Fox has already been ruled out of Wednesday's game at Miami, though it's unclear how much time he'll miss.

Impact Lyles managed to end his night with an eclectic collection of stats, producing in low volume across all major categories. While a line like this can have sneaky value, it is certainly not something we see on a consistent basis. Based on this one effort, we are not making any moves to grab him outside of the deepest formats.

Impact Barnes had one of his better all-around games of the season, highlighting just what an empty start it has been for the veteran. Despite continuing to log significant minutes, Barnes currently sits outside the top 200 in standard formats. Given he has a proven inability to produce anything but points and triples, he should be viewed as just a streaming candidate moving forward.

Impact Sabonis fouled out in the win, although he was still able to put up meaningful contributions. Efficiency was an issue, something he has been able to largely avoid thus far this season, at least from the field. He is still adjusting to playing under Mike Brown, something that should come around at some point in the near future.

If Fox misses additional time, Mitchell is certainly a player to consider adding on a short-term basis. He won't be this good but should be able to do enough to have backend 12-team value.
