Doug McDermott - Tabbed as questionableMcDermott (back) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Brooklyn, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
ImpactMcDermott missed Sunday's contest due to back soreness and is at risk of missing a second straight game. In his absence, Josh Richardson logged 21 points over 30 minutes and would be in line for another expanded role if McDermott sits.

Davion Mitchell - Provides lift off benchMitchell supplied 19 points (7-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound and one steal in 20 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 132-119 win over the Spurs.
ImpactMitchell's 19 points gave him his second-best total of the season and exceeded his scoring production from the previous four games combined. With the Kings having enjoyed better health than any team this season, Mitchell has rarely had the opportunity to seize hold of major minutes for an extended period of time, and he'll likely remain stuck in a limited bench role so long as all of De'Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk steer clear of long absences.

Josh Richardson - Goes for 21 points off benchRichardson finished Sunday's 132-119 loss to the Kings with 21 points (8-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes.
ImpactRichardson had it going early, knocking down four of five field-goal attempts in the first half for 10 points off the bench to go along with two assists. He continued to shoot the ball well after the break, going 4-of-8 from the field, including 3-of-5 from three, for another 11 points as San Antonio suffered its fifth straight loss. It was Richardson's fifth time this season with at least 20 points, while he also saw his highest minutes total since Oct. 28 against Chicago.

De'Aaron Fox - Scores 17 second-half pointsFox had 23 points (11-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt), one rebound and three assists over 37 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 win over the Spurs.
ImpactFox scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half, including 11 points in the fourth quarter on 5-of-8 shooting from the field as the Kings extended their winning streak to four games. The point guard has now broken the 20-point mark in six of eight games this month, though his three assists Sunday were the fewest he's recorded in a game since Dec. 23 against the Wizards.
JANUARY 16, 2023•ROTOWIRE
Jakob Poeltl - Lights out from field in lossPoeltl notched 23 points (10-12 FG, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 31 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 loss to the Kings.
ImpactPoeltl didn't miss a shot until the final period, going 9-of-9 from the field for 21 points through the first three quarters as the Spurs fought, albeit unsuccessfully, to avoid their fifth consecutive loss. He finished with a team-high scoring total and his most since Nov. 15. Poeltl also posted two blocks Sunday, reaching that feat for the third time over his last five contests.

Keldon Johnson - Struggles en route to 20 pointsJohnson closed Sunday's 132-119 loss to the Kings with 20 points (8-25 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 35 minutes.
ImpactJohnson didn't have one of his finer performances in this one, going 4-of-11 from the field for nine points in the first half before knocking down another four shots on 14 attempts over the final two quarters to finish with 20 points on the night. The small forward shot 32 percent in the contest, his worst shooting performance since Dec. 12, and he's gone just 4-of-22 from beyond the arc over his last four games. Johnson did, however, grab seven rebounds Sunday for just the second time this month.
JANUARY 16, 2023•ROTOWIRE
Harrison Barnes - Game-high 29 pointsBarnes had 29 points (8-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 9-11 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block in 39 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 win over the Spurs.
ImpactBarnes was incredibly efficient throughout the contest, registering 15 first-half points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field before going a perfect 3-of-3 over the final two quarters for an additional 14 points. The forward also matched a season high with 11 free-throw attempts in the contest. He's now averaging 22.1 points per game in January, but since he's achieving his production on an unsustainable 55.7 percent shooting from the field and 51.8 percent shooting from distance over that span, expect some regression to eventually set in.
